find out my problem

Hello,

My right shoulder has an acute ache for a long time. I went to see an
orthopedic physician. He took an x-ray on my shoulder, but found
nothing wrong with the bones. I also feel that my problem is on the
muscles. I asked him how to find what's wrong with them. He didn't
say anything about it.

I like to know: how can I find out the muscle problems? Or what test
do I need to take on the muscles? Thanks for your expertise and help.
