anckle ligament tear

Respected Sir!
I suffered a ligament injury about two months ago of third degree most
probably, in my Posterior talo-fibular ligament of my right foot. same
ligament was injured about two years ago at that time I got it treated
from a quack but this time I went to an ortho doctor But I was not
satisfied with the treatment of doctor who plastered my foot for ten
days and recommended that hard plaster for further four weeks. Its
very very hot here and my skin is a bit sensative.. so I am depending
again on quackery which doesn't seem to work this time. I am a
journalist here and most of my work is in field but I am not able to
put my full weight on injured right foot and I am lingering on and on
and on... And I am much worried about this, please help me out, tell
me what to do to come out of this and to strengthen my injured
ligament.
