snacks for a dialysis diet?

My brother is on dialysis and hoping for a kidney transplant.
He has a birthday coming up and I am considering getting
him some special snacks and was wondering what might
be appropriate. I will check on google as well but thought
I would check here too. (I also have moderate kidney
disease so the information may be useful for me as well,
and probably to other readers.)
