The evidence with FA and cancer is at worst mixed. There is also evidence
that it prevent cancer. Moreover, there are other issues. I've
always tried to use unfortified nutritional yeast under the theory (fact)
that it contains more natural forms of FA than found in the tablets.
And for years I've tried to include greens in my diet for both the
carotenoids and the FA forms. True I've also taken and take the supplement
but unlike many here I loaded with methyl group contributors.
I can understand if one avoids much synthetic FA but FA is available in
foods and at decent doses IF one keeps a eye on the topic and
avoids (foolish socialization/bias) 'common-sense.' That juicer can
be a friend for natural FA. Natural FA has lower availability but
is also slow release so blood levels aren't spiked. And it's less
oxidized and comes in more than one form. SOME of which ARE more
active than the synthetic FA.
Plus early intervention is likely by far the best and late intervention
may speed some cancers caused in part by sub-optimal FA levels.
Or at least that is one hypothesis to consider before one runs
for the 'hills.'
Now there is some gray for you.....................Trig
