Concerning privacy and the internet. Whats the law as of now on this?
Also just curious if someone where to get an IPO address via hacking
I'm assuming the illegal hacking evidence could never be allowed in
court, correct?

You have some damn nerve.

You ask me to do you a favor...I do it...and then you accuse me of
lying.

Now you want a free legal opinion?

Here's my advice;

Go to hell.

That's where most lawyers hang out.

Right on!

The moron should look at ISP privacy policies and do his own research.
No matter what the law is, he's going to have his own conclusions
anyway.

Der dritte mann you were missed!

LOL!

Well, before the ABA comes knockin'...clearly what I meant about "most
lawyers" hanging out in hell...was that contrary to the way it appears
on TV...it's one hellish way of trying to earn a living.

But...seems I remember this story:

"Few people know that Hell and Heaven are actually right next to each
other. But Hell, because of recent sharp declines in overall public
morality...is expanding...too many inhabitants...and causing the
borders of Hell to intrude into Heaven.

So, one day...Jesus decides to take it up with his neighbor...

J:"So, Satan...really...this has got to stop. You are encroaching here.
Do onto others, you know..."

S: Oh, up yours goody-damn two-sandals...what are you going to do about
it?

J:(Getting a little steamed)...I said it's an ENCROACHMENT. I'll SUE
YOU.

S: Yeah? (amused) Is that so? And where are YOU going to get a lawyer?

Lawyer dies and goes to heaven
A Lawyer dies and goes to heaven. He knocks on the old pearly gates and
out walks St. Peter. "Hello mate," says St. Peter, "I'm sorry, no
Lawyers in heaven."

"What?" exclaims the man, astonished.

"You heard, no Lawyers."

"But, but, but, I've been a good man", replies the Lawyer.

"Oh really", says St. Peter. "What have you done, then ?"

"Well" said the guy, "Three weeks before I died, I gave 10 dollars to
the starving
children in Africa".

"Oh" says St.Peter. "anything else?"

"Well, 2 weeks before I died I also gave 10 dollars to the homeless."

"Hmmm. Anything else?" "Yeah. A week before I died I gave 10 dollars to
the Albanian
orphans."

"Okay", said St. Peter, "You wait here a minute while I have a word
with the boss."

Ten minutes pass before St. Peter returns.

He looks the bloke in the eye and says, "I've had a word with God and
he
agrees with me. Here's your thirty dollars back, now take a hike!"

**************************************************

Lawyer in Heaven
The lawyer is standing at the gate to Heaven and St. Peter is listing
his sins:

1) Defending a large corporation in a pollution suit where he knew they
were guilty.

2) Defending an obviously guilty murderer because the fee was high.

3) Overcharging fees to many clients.

4) Prosecuting an innocent woman because a scapegoat was needed in a
controversial case.

...and the list goes on for quite awhile.

The lawyer objects and begins to argue his case.
He admits all these things, but argues, "Wait, I've done some charity
in my life also."
St. Peter looks in his book and says, "Yes, I see. Once you gave a dime
to a panhandler
and once you gave an extra nickel to the shoeshine boy, correct?"
The lawyer gets a smug look on his face and replies, "Yes."
St. Peter turns to the angel next to him and says,

"Give this guy 15 cents and tell him to go to hell."

***********************************************

A lawyer died and arrived at the pearly gates. To his dismay, there
were thousands of people ahead of him in line to see St. Peter. But, to
his surprise, St. Peter left his desk at the gate and came down the
long line to where the lawyer was, and greeted him warmly.
Then St. Peter and one of his assistants took the lawyer by the hands
and guided him up to the front of the line, and into a comfortable
chair by his desk.
The lawyer said, "I don't mind all this attention, but what makes me so
special?"
St. Peter replied, "Well, I've added up all the hours for which you
billed your clients, and by my calculation you must be about 193 years
old!"

***********************************************

The Pope died and went to heaven. When he got there, he found a
lawyer in line in front of him at the Pearly Gates. Saint Peter
came over and told the Pope, "Just a minute, I'll be right back".

At that, Saint Peter took the lawyer away.

When Saint Peter came back, he told the Pope, "Follow me to your
new quarters." Along the way they passed many people in their
heavenly abodes, and they happened to pass by the quarters of the
lawyer who had preceded Saint Peter through the Pearly Gates.
The Pope was awe-struck by the opulence and splendor of the
lawyer's quarters. There were fine silks, rare foods and drinks,
soft music, and attractive young women to serve him for eternity.

Saint Peter and the Pope finally arrived at the Pope's new
quarters. The Pope looked in and saw a 6 foot by 9 foot room
with bare walls, a plain bed and a Bible for entertainment. The
Pope said, "I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I am wondering
why the lawyer gets such a magnificent room and I get this small
room.

Saint Peter said, "Well, you see, we have a great many popes here
in heaven, but only ONE lawyer."

Two doctors and an HMO manager died and lined up at the pearly gates
for admission to heaven. St. Peter asked them to identify themselves.
One doctor stepped forward and said, "I was a pediatric spine surgeon
and helped kids overcome their deformities." St. Peter said, "You can
enter."

The second doctor said, "I was a psychiatrist. I helped people
rehabilitate themselves." St. Peter also invited him in.

The third applicant stepped forward and said, "I was an HMO manager. I
helped people get cost-effective health care." St. Peter said, "You can
come in, too."

But as the HMO manager walked by, St. Peter added, "You can stay three
days. After that, you can go to Hell."

Yeah...whatever.

What an asshole...he knows exactly what I'm talking about. notice he
claims not to...

...but doesn't bother to ask.

If he doesn't...then that's worse...either way...I reserve the right to
ignore.

I figure apologies are something people should freely give...and freely
accept...been noticing that some people here...have trouble with the
offering part...and those people probably just aren't worth the
aggravation of dealing with.

So far as his stated purpose in asking the question...

...LOL...yeah, I kinda gathered that...but the dumbass doesn't even
understand the question...

...and yet he thinks he can set up a "dog n pony" for the benefit of me
and you.

What a jerkoff.

Wasn't "Ping" a story about a Chinese DUCK? (Captain Kangaroo...any
boomers remember this)?

He is one of the most frustrating people to deal with because he
deliberatelty and repeatedly lies and misrepresents.

I've chosen to stop dealing with him.

Got tired of banging my head against the Brent wall.

He is at times stupid, at other times I think DELIBERATELY obtuse and
certainly cognitively dissonant.

But almost always annoying.

I wouldn't mind having honest exchanges with him because occasionally
he has a point to make but inevitably it is a mistake because
everything reverts to silver silver silver and the same crap over and
over again. Didja see that just yesterday he again claimed that U of N
Iowa is recommending silver?

There's too much of that and too much of the same thing over and over
and over again--he's a soulless relentless silver energizer bunny
moron.

Yup that's the thing IGNORE the ignorant.

Agreed echo. And people should freely admit when they're wrong about
something.

As if either of us needs him to set up our defense for our right to be
anonymous!

And he could easily ascertain the information himself by referring to
ISP privacy policies as well as the privacy policies of this site and
many others which of course has nothing to do with our own decisions to
remain anonymous--as he has done (after all who the F is "brent" if
that is his real name? but who cares) and so many other people do.

In fact most of the people on LymeNUT are anonymous which is okay until
someone disagrees with them and then the anonmous ones say it isn't
okay to be anonymous!

When either of us needs his help for anything will be a sorry day for
us.
