Bone marrow transplant

My sister has been diagnosed with 4th stage cancer. The four sites are:
breast, lungs, liver, and bones. Recently her doctor has suggested bone
marrow transplant. We are looking for information on this procedure, i.e.
risks, side effects, prognosis, etc. She has not lost weight through
chemo therapy. She is taking homiopathic suppliments which she believes
has helped with the side effects of the present treatment. Any
information, or other web sites where information can be obtained would be
most helpful.

What is the primary cancer? It could be breast cancer as a primary
with metastases to the lungs, bones and brain.

Info there is good and current. My wife went through the procedure in
November for stage III BC. All my research says it is the only way to
go.
