Desperate to find some basis to attack Matt, Chung has apparently been
busy with Google trying to "get something" on him... and comes up with
the website of someone named Matt Bernstein.
The mind of the Great Truth Discerner springs into action: they are
both named Matt, maybe the "b" in his email address means Bernstein,
and there is a mention of "sorbet" in one article. He immediately sees
the possibility of "outing" Matt and smearing him into silence... and,
at the same time smearing by implication and insinuation Dr. Nagler and
the so called "Peanut Gallery".
What does this tell us about the character of The Humble One? That in
addition to being a religious fanatic and a hypocrite, he is your
garden variety bigot and not too particular about facts.
Are these the tactics of a "Christian"? Is this Chung's idea of
professional behavior?
Next, he'll probably google a website and find a black person with the
name "Steve"...
As Pastorio often says "res ipsa loquitur".
Disgusting.

Mu_tant makes big hay with sexuality. Says he's a trainer and hangs
out with sweaty athletes and military guys. Giggles and chuckles like
a middle schooler with his first nudie magazine. Casts aspersions but
not directly, sneers his prejudice, vomits his bigotry and scorns. Oh
how he scorns.
Very brave of him to conceal who he is and attack from the safety of
darkness and secrecy. Very brave. And so ethical.
Well, he says that usenet is a silly thing with no reality off the
screen, so no matter, right? He says that but investigates people with
his google finger and brings real life into the NG's. Perhaps that's
why he stays in the shadows. His entire palace of fakery would crash
around him. So, a liar and a fraud and a hypocrite. How his dinner
companions must respect him. Do you think they know about his secret
life online?

Agreed. This is so far beyond ridiculous, it is hilarious. But, it
does show how the mind of a fanatic works. Beliefs ONLY, facts are not
necessary. If the available real information is a bit sparse, then
fantasy fills in to complete the picture ALREADY in the mind..

Pastorio is supremely contemptuous of Chung's utterly scurrilous

As shabby a bit of distortion and self-serving victimhood as ever
existed. Poor Chung, the put upon fraud and quack. He thinks that
because people point out what a fake he is that they're saying
something about Jesus. He thinks that because people point out his
daily quackery that they're saying something about God. Poor deluded
Chung says he loves them, but in truth, he confuses humself with them.
He thinks that his "gift of truth discernment" that has been so
thoroughly discredited by reference to his off-the-mark "diagnoses"
and guesses has a place in reality. Evidence and citation have no
place in the hierarchy of Chung-think unless it agrees with what he
*knows.* Poor deluded Chung.
Just because he acts the fraud and just because he acts the quack,
it's "libel" to point it out. Poor, confused Chung who has had libel
explained to him and who still insists on his own definitions. Poor,
sad Chung.
> Though publically saying you have accepted Christ as your Lord and
> Savior does not prove you are christian, being unable to make this
> declaration does prove you are not christian.
As though anyone needs to prove anything about their beliefs to Chung.
Perhaps he forgot his logic classes if he ever had any.
Here's a logical axiom very useful in logic and science: Absence of
evidence is not evidence of absence. Anyone not making a declaration
to suit Chung isn't a member of his cult. Sounds like children making
up "clubs" with rituals that mark "us" versus "them." Sounds like
Chung asserting he *knows* why D. Best decided to stay with 325 mg of
aspirin without asking Best. He just said absolutely that he *knew.*
No facts, no evidence, no questions for the person in question. Chung
*knew* what was in his head and in his heart. Hubris at its
unfortunate worst.
Poor Chung thinks that if he says "jump" that people will do so. Poor
Chung thinks that people have to prove things to his satisfaction. How
hilarious is that? People have to do things Chung's way. How hilarious
is that? How warped is that? How fanatical is that?
Chung seems to think that he's the arbiter of what's in hte hearts of
people. He says that only God knows what's in our hearts and proceeds
to explain other people's motivations. Details what impels people.
Details what's wrong with them. Just as though he were God, all the
time asserting that he isn't God. Poor, inconsistent, illogical,
deluded Chung.
A while back, Chung said unequivocally that I had never quoted the
bible here. I had on several occasions, sometimes in reply to Chung. I
wouldn't haev any problem if he would say that he didn't recall that I
had or some other way to include the possibility that he might be in
error. But he doesn't do that normally, and he certaihnly didn't do it
then. He seems to truly believe that whatever he believes is *The
Truth.* Singular. No other possibility. When I did cite a couple
examples of my quoting the bible to him, he weaseled, as usual. He
commented sourly that it had been a while back and that in the other
case, somebody else had begun hte quotation and besides he had snipped
my part without really reading it. Had he said, Ooops, I made a
mistake, I could begin to respect him. Not from Chung. He stated his
belief as an absolute and when it was clearly demonstrated to be
fallacious, he gracelessly attempted to lay off the responsibility.
Sad behavior for an adult.
Sad, really. A waste of a long and arduous education, beyond the
capacities of most people. And Chung dribbles its authority away with
trivial egotism. He trivializes his expertise and his fervent beliefs
by insisting everything. By demanding unquestioning acceptance or
suffer the punishment of his mean-spirited reviling. Poor deluded
Chung. Poor possessed Chung.

Can I join in your fantasy? I'm a Chung-certified Christian and
You already understand the truth of things in life Pastorio.
"Countertop boards can be split by forceful chopping. They can also be
splintered and deeply marred. "
You see, these counterboards are like imitations and they won't
withstand attacks from cutting instruments like the real thing will.
Do you hack away at what you know to be true to your standard, or do
you waste your time, as with a counterboard? If the former is true,
then know God is by you and no amount of hacking at one of His
children will keep Him away from you.
Those who can prepare a feast and praise God for that gift prepare
feasts for The King and serves all people's hearts. God calls for
prepares of feasts and He calls for healers.
Each time you see a good cutting board think of God's armour and how
it protects Christian's who chose to wear it. "For we do not wrestle
against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual
hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the
whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand." Eph 6:12-13
Next time you bring your cleaver down on your board feel the pain of
that cut and know what Jesus did for you.

I thank you for the thought, but I'm not as sure about that as you are.

I'm flattered that you've gone out searching for what I write
elsewhere. But cutting boards aren't imitations of anything. They have
a purpose that's very clear. Chopping blocks, which I also describe in
the post you quoted, have a different purpose. Neither is an imitation
of either one or anything else.
> Do you hack away at what you know to be true to your standard, or do

Carol, I assume that you're sincere in this post. This sentence is
opaque to me. It makes no sense.
> If the former is true,

Likewise this one.
> Those who can prepare a feast and praise God for that gift prepare

> prepares of feasts and He calls for healers.
Can I hear an "Amen." <Amen> Can I hear another "Amen?"
Can I hear a translation of this sentence into english? <...>
Thought so.
Carol, These ringing sentences sound good, but the meaning is a bit
elusive.
> Each time you see a good cutting board think of God's armour and how
> it protects Christian's who chose to wear it.
This is all a bit fanciful. I was baptized in 1941 and have all those
decades of religious instruction/contemplation behind me. I actively
considered the religious life as a clergyman. I don't claim to
understand the workings of God; I just accept them. I also don't feel
compelled to parade what I believe here.
But to confuse the real spirit of Christianity with the vile malice
that Chung and Mu_le spew is simply a mistake in values.

rewards. Chung wants more patients and so he spams his website and his
wacko diet on usenet. Mu_sca trolls for the sheer perverse pleasure of
creating strife. Are these exemplars of Christlike behavior? I think not.
>>Those who recognise them for who they are, through
>>coming to know The Word, can leave them be by using their new
>>strength in Christ. The true reward is in Christ and not the rewards
>>of mankind or evil things.
>>Those who stand firm in their beliefs will not be deceived by those
>>people who cannot change their ways. Man's tradition ends when
>>those who are worn out by it follow the faithful to where they will
>>receive The Word.
The problem with this is that fanatical cultists like Chung and Mu_mps
believe that they have an exclusive grasp on truth. They believe (at
least Chung seems to; his obverse is so fraudulent that he might be
pressing his "Christianity" for his typical, mad desire to create
stress and dissension) that they have an infallible understanding of
what the words of Jesus mean.
Chung has stated that the only thing necessary for salvation is to
believe in Jesus. That no further action or inaction is necessary.
That a Christian can say anything, do anything and it doesn't matter.
Nothing can remove that salvation once the belief is there. So he
lies, offers suspect medical advice, pretends to medical knowledge he
doesn't have, distorts and maligns. Is this the behavior of a
Christian? Would Jesus say, "Good job, Chung?"
>>There must only be love, not condemnation, when The Word is used in
>>forceful instruction."
Now consider what Chung and Mu_shroom do. The revile, they denigrate,
they cast aspersions, they lie, they play the deceivers. Mu_ff has
been snickering like a demented schoolboy while trying to smear others
with a homosexual tag. It's pure malice. There's no love there; quite
the opposite. That Chung stands by while his "friend" perpetrates this
travesty of what they call "Christianity" is telling. There is no
love. There is no Christianity. There is hatred and cruelty. There is
evil desire to create pain and distress.
And I have a problem with "forceful instruction." It seems to imply
that the free will we have should be subverted by others who will
instruct us forcefully, against our will. No one ever came to belief
at the end of a whip.
>>People must know they are loved first, otherwise
>>it's like a seed falling on to a rock."
Or it's like being hit with a rock.
>>A Christian can love others so much that in their desperation to
>>save souls they can forget to hear from God where and how to plant
>>the seeds.
Or they can pretend. Or they can wrap themselves in their "belief" and
use it as a weapon against others. They can bait and use "fighting
words" to deliberately inflame others.
I appreciate your effort to bring your message to me, but I truly
think the job you might consider addressing is the "Christianity" of
Chung and Mu_cker.
Thank you for your concern.

How perfectly normal for the perverted Mu_tation. How wonderfully
Christian. And Chung stands by while it proceeds. What a perfect
fraud. What a perfect hypocrite.
Where's all that "love" that these all-mouth Christians are supposed
to show?

Why stop there? You should really take out a full page in the NY
Times. That would make you feel MUCH better. <ggg> And don't forget
about those people in Dalran, Tibet. You should let them know too.
<huge grin> You don't want to miss anyone, now, do you?
You are quite funny. <g> Ever thought about a Chung/Mu show on the
comedy channel?

Question: If you came upon a religious fanatic who was harming or
disrupting the lives of others, would you consider that to be
allowable because he claimed he was "very religious"?
Would you do anything to try to stop him? If he says God is guiding
him in his destructive actions would you defend him?

Of course. This is VERY standard and predictable Chung. The ultimate
Chubby Chung twist.

Let's add that to the list of bumper stickers. <g>

Poor Mu_cin sees it all as a battle. Carol sees it as an exercise in
help. Which is the better Christian?
Which is the Christian at all?
Poor Mu_chacho is SO wrong, yet again. Let's leave Carol's words for
Mu_ffish to reread. Maybe a 12-year-old can help him see what she
really was about. Ok, small chance, but cut the poor illiterate some
slack. He can't help his IQ.
I love this new name, "Eclipsed M_unlight." Eclipsed means
overwhelmed, obscured, surpassed and that seems to fit rather
perfectly, unfortunately for him.

Note that it has morphed into a total eclipse. <gg> He won't get it,
though, and will keep on using it. <g>

No, no, no, our weapons are of our own minds. Nothing can harm your
faith if it is solid, not even evil things. Think about those quality
blocks you use and how they can withstand attack after attack and how
they are cherished for it. Then consider how Christianity has stood
solid for over 2,000 years whilst it has been attacked and manipulated
by generations of unbelievers. It's alive and dynamic, it's old and
new, for the old and young, it's wisdom, love, healing, saving, a
place of anchorage, a place to be valued, to find solace, it's
sociable, stability, forgiving, teaching, art, poetry, fun,
belonging, happiness, joy, festive and much, much more, with Jesus at
its centre calling us to His table.

Which matter is at hand? Who does 'God' concern Himself with if it's
not all people?
Carol T
>>>>>>>> Would you do anything to try to stop him? If he says God is

Dear Matt,
God is not harmed by good solid faith, and neither is anyone else. If
you stood on the edge of a cliff with all you wanted in life dangling
on a string at arms reach and you had really struggled to take every
step there, you might think it destructive if I pulled you back two
steps. I expect you might even be furious with me. Later you may
discover the edge of the cliff is lost and you could have gone to your
death with it, only ever having reached the edge of your temptations
and never feeling satisfied.
It can seem a struggle going to your destruction, even hard work at
times, we even go willingly because we want; better lives, bigger
cars, to do as we want, indulge as much as we want, ignore children to
do our own thing, to let go of responsibilities, not to rest on
Sundays, and to use God for just weddings Christenings and
funerals....... then suddenly along comes Christ and He yanks us back
from it all because He loves us. Christianity is like that and we
don't always like the hand of the one He uses to do the pulling, but
they do tend to be very strong in their faith and love of Christ.
With God the illogical becomes logical, you just have to trust Him. If
you accept Jesus into your life you will know how far God guides
people. It's always a choice, your choice, each one of us has the
freewill to do as we please.
Any Christian who has heard these words (below) and they are for them,
and they believe this, even if their life were at stake, then they
cannot be destructive in God's name.
"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor
principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor
height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:38 NKJ
No man who says He does his work in the name of Christ and truly
believes it needs me to defend them. Only evil would lie for self
gains, and Christ always overcomes evil in the end.

Fanatics like Chung believe that they're getting a free ride and can
do anything they want because they "believe." He uses his "belief" to
forgive himself for some rather egregious and malicious behavior.
> Only evil would lie for self

And until then, the evil ones cause pain, suffering and harm to others
through their false assertion of belief.
So you say that if someone says he believes, anything he does is OK
and that no effort for any action to stop apparent harm is
appropriate. There are warnings in the bible to be cautious in
dealings with others and commandments advising against dishonest
behaviors that seem to be universal in humanity. Are you saying we
shouldn't protect ourselves against harm because others say they
believe? Or that we shouldn't try to prevent other "believers" from
harming others? Should swindlers and con artists like Jim Bakker go to
jail? He said he was doing God's work and, by all accounts, believed
he was.

In God the illogical is the logical. Evil only reaps its own wage. No
work done can be done in God's name that will not reap its own reward
in the end, what ever it is to be. Thus, no man has need of defence
from me as I trust this of God.

Yes, there are, and to understand prophecy in its context and to know
how to act on it is as great a gift as any. None of God's gifts are
taken lightly. The Word is dynamic, literal and yet not. Read it and
feel The Spirit move through it (ask God for this sincerely) and then
you will know who prophecy is for and how the responsibility of it
would weigh heavy without Christ by your side.

Remember what protection is against evil and how strong it must be.
Will you put on your own armour of Christ so that you may recognise

the world is to become a righteous place.

And because he knows the Word through what he has been doing, he will
be in fear of God's wrath. He has ultimately earned his own wages of
sin for his work in God's name, his torment will grow as he nearers
his death if he is not to be forgiven. Such torment has driven people
to suicide, as every minute of their existence becomes miserable to
them. It is not for other Christian's to judge him, how could we if we
would take forgiveness for our own sins, but not accept Jesus'
forgiveness for others too? None of us is sin free, it would be a
terrible burden on our thoughts alone, let alone our actions. We can
only strive for that perfection through the love of Christ and knowing
the Word and learning of God's ways.
