I have changed the thread title because the subject matter is now
completely different than what started out, and in order to bring
others into the discussion who might not have bothered with the
original. I fail to see any problem with such a subject change. If
Thomas can give me good reasons why it is has negative effects, then I
ask that he do so (but in a comment quoting this remark, placed on the
original thread).
I note that it was an additional off-subject remark of "jw" which
necessitated this transition and, correctly, he was the responsible
party to do the necessary work to start a new thread on that new
subject (which was no longer merely "protocol" but rather content
related).

I am not sure what prompted this "retort". Perhaps you don't realize
that I have been a major contributor to this group (and the LEF
Forums, which I created) for well over 10 years now and have certainly
done my "share" (I posted as Tom Matthews prior to 2002). The only
current posters on sle that have been doing so as long as me are
Thomas Carter and Tim Tiedeman. So I think it is entirely reasonable
that I should not want to duplicate work that I have done elsewhere
merely to satisfy people who will not make the effort to seek that
information elsewhere on the Internet. As I said before, if anyone
wishes to comment or query me about my reasons and decisions, then I
am quite agreeable (even pleased) to responding to that on sle.

I completely agree. But unfortunately the newsgroup format is not as
conducive to gathering and updating a library of information as is
even a well organized website. I am working to combine MoreLife.org
and MoreLife Yahoo into a wiki, which should work much better for that
purpose. However it is taking some time since I have no partner/
collaborator except Kitty.
If the wealth of information that Thomas Carter has gathered and
organized were to be available in this format (wiki) but with his
personal conclusions either not included or separated from the factual
data (or strictly related to his own regimen practices), this would be
very helpful to us all. When my wiki gets going he and others will be
very welcome to contribute.
Finally, what is needed is factual "review" type information together
with cataloged connections, that will enable readers to draw their own
practical conclusions, rather than have someone's necessarily
subjective conclusions fed to them. I think that the wiki format
together with adequate moderation should promote this result.

Hi Paul,
I'm looking forward to the launch. I'll be happy to contribute what I
can, and altho I now have about 45 mega bytes, almost all is riddled
with personal information that could embarass friends, family, or
myself. My opinions some of which are quite out of date, and even "not
too very smart" are also intermixed in the factual data, sometimes
even inside abstracts, or textual quotes. Consequently I have to
carefully review anything I post.
