Context:
A recently completed induced polarization survey has further defined
a 1.5 square kilometer magnetic low surrounded by a large chargeability
and resistivity anomaly. Exposed mineralization and
associated alteration at Anomaly 14 is typical of a gold-tellurium epithermal
system underlying a preserved silica lithocap. The geophysical anomaly
indicates an associated, underlying, highly
prospective, gold-copper porphyry system. Diamond drill holes, approximately
300 meters in depth, are planned to test these prospective gold-tellurium
epithermal and gold-copper porphyry
systems.

En el dibujito mostrado en la URL anterior parece que la capa superior es la
'lithocap', además en el dibujito pone 'caprock'.
Como 'cap' = mantle or layer; litho- prefix is:
1. stone lithosphere
2. calculus, concretion lithotomy
[From Greek lithos "stone," of unknown origin]
And "caprock" (also called cap) is:
1. rock covering salt: a layer of rock that lies above a salt dome and
consists of anhydrite, gypsum, or limestone
2. rock covering fossil fuel: an impermeable layer of rock that lies above
a deposit of gas or oil and prevents it from percolating upward
registrada: BRAND NAMES: Lithobid; Lithocarb; Lithocap; Lithonate; Lithotabs
(CATEGORIES, FDA DRUG CLASSES, BRAND NAMES)
Espero que esto te sirva de ayuda, saludos,
