I'm using the book "Subject-Grouped 1016 Kanji in Context" by Taeko
Kamiya to study the kyouiku kanji. I have not found a single mention
of this book anywhere on Usenet or the internet (not even amazon.com)
Anyway, I was just wondering what other people think of this book.

For me it seems to make it easier to study large groups of kanji at a
time, knowing all of these kanjis have something to do with plants,
all of these have to do with family relations, etc. I've managed to
study over 200 in a month, and I'm hoping to finish this book by the
end of March (after which I have to figure out what to use to study
the rest of the government standard kanji...)

If anyone is interested, I have a boring little web page dedicated to
my Japanese studies at http://www2.gol.com/users/joepet/japanese
