I was wondering if the new EDICT2 file format is like the EnamdictX format
which combines multiple entries? At present I am able to use enamdictx
within JWPce and wondered if EDICT2 was also compatible (the wwwjdic site
says to download the old edict file for this program.)

They are different, but EDICT2 might work with JWPce (I've never

tried it.) That version of enamdict was created for WWWJDIC, and
I'm glad it can be used OK elsewhere.
