"Ohara Bushi"

English version of "Ohara Bushi."
This is a well-known min-yo of Kagoshima District.
Saigou Takamori was one of the Samurais of Satsuma Han
of Kagoshima.
Saigo's words are in this "Ohara Bushi" min-you.
He says in the 4th verse , "A bushi should die for his own
home country."

燃えてあがるは オハラハー 桜島～
Moete agaru wa ohara ha Sakurajima
