Visualogic announces the release of Slicer Dicer v2.5 -- the fast,
powerful, easy-to-use tool for volumetric data visualization.

Slicer Dicer v2.5 runs on all reasonably powerful Windows NT and 95
platforms. It is designed for scientists, medical professionals, engineers,
and other technologists involved with complex data defined in three or more
dimensions. Examples of such data include seismic measurements
(geophysics), output from MRI and CT scanners (biomedicine), and
computational fluid dynamics results (aerodynamics, meteorology, etc.).

With Slicer Dicer you can "slice and dice" a data volume, viewing arbitrary
orthogonal and oblique cross sections, rectilinear blocks and cutouts,
isosurfaces, and projected volumes. You can generate animation sequences
featuring continuous rotation, moving objects (slices, blocks, etc.), time
variation (or the variation of any non-spatial dimension), oblique slice
rotation, and varying transparency. The data volume can be scaled and
rotated arbitrarily. And much more.

This application was formerly known as Dicer (for Macintosh) and was
marketed for Visualogic by Spyglass. It has now been upgraded and ported to
Windows NT and 95. (A new Macintosh version is planned for release in
1998.)
