I really thank you for an answer
If you go to the Southamton Oceanography Centre site at
http://www.soc.soton.ac.uk and
use the search feature on their home page to look for Tobi or Gloria you
should find some
useful links.

Unfortunatly these pages aren't as extensive as I would like them
to be but if you email Keith Birch (k...@soc.soton.ac.uk) he would be
happy to send you some more information on Tobi and Gloria.
We are planning to update the web pages in the next few weeks.

There are some published papers about Sea MARC I and SeaMARC II. They
were made by International Submarine Technology(whose principles
included Jim Kosalos, Larry Robinson and Irv Bjorkhiem) which has
permuted out of exitance in the styleof many startups. TOBI and Gloria
are also the subject of numerous papers. The AMS-60 and 120 systems were
made by Acoustic Marine Systems which formed by Larry Robinson and Irv
(Oryvind Bjorkhiem) when IST came unglued.
AMS has subsequently been incorporated into Kongsberg Simrad which can
be found at: http://www.kongsberg-simrad.com but I didn't find
The Williamson and Associates web side has some technical content on the
AMS systems they own and operate. (Unfortunately I can't find the URL at
the moment.)
