Not everyone at green millionaire Al Gore's latest Melbourne mass for global
warmings believers will be a carpetbagger or dupe:
Those attending the "Safe Climate" 7am breakfast with Al Gore on Monday July
13 will be met by a peaceful educational protest where they will be greeted
by signs showing graphs and reasons why CO2 is NOT the main cause of climate
change.
Leon Ashby, president of the new political party "The Climate Sceptics" is
organising the event.

more efficient sources of energy. Unfortunately governmental taxes to
stop climate change are a colossal diversion of funds from core
obligations, and Emission Trading Schemes (ETS) will do absolutely
nothing for the Murray-Darling basin, the Great Barrier Reef, or land
degradation - just as it will do absolutely nothing to stop climate
change.
The Climate Sceptics are here to demand rational debate and
responsible leadership. We reject the extremist views that now
threaten what Australians have sacrificed to achieve in living
standards, rights and freedoms.

# Well, well, so the sceptics have gone official, but just to show they are
responsible citizens and not a group of cranks, we have - "The Climate
Sceptics support all practical measures to prevent
environmental degradation...." Surely a case of back-peddling, as AGW is
merely part of this whole scenario? Chimneys shit into the atmosphere, and
we think such billions of tonnes annually has no impact? Anything less than
capping, or 100% recycling, is failure.
Quoting T.H.Huxley is of dubious merit, as he was probably referring
more to dogmatic religion, than empirical science.
Myself, I'm more sceptical of the dogmas of the Sceptics, than those of
the IPCC, and would prefer to be prudent and take action, rather than
attribute all climate change to Nature, discounting the impact of The Human
Plague and its Technology.
What will Gore's breakfast, and Protesters outside have in common? -
People, and Dining (Protesters have to eat). Both will be chomping away at
the Planet, while emitting lots of hot air, and CO2.
