Spam, or the flamewars that surround global warming. Lots of noise,
not a lot of substance, most people fled for the hills and never
looked back.

I mostly just monitor the group if something interesing pops up. It
mostly doesn't.

Like you, I rarely check in. Last time I did I was unable to post.
So, now I'm trying a different news server.

Wish this group was as useful as it was back in its heyday.
