this tool an electronic "yellow pages" for energy companies.
If you need instant information on a petroleum-related company,
its products, or its services - then you can use this tool.
It's easy to use! And, it is free to you.
You can use this service from any e-mail system that can send
and receive electronic mail messages from Internet.
Quick ... what EMD do for me?
Using your e-mail, you can:
* look-up & retrieve the address/tel/fax of a vendor, assoc. or
oil company - worldwide!
* find their e-mail address
* automatic search: (i.e.) find vendors that provide core analysis
* get a brief description of vendor products & services
* download detailed product & services catalogs
* and more ...
HOW IS ELECTRONIC MARKETING DIRECTORY (EMD) PACKAGED?
EMD can be used in two ways:
* As an e-mail query system
* As a standalone MS-Windows software program
... both methods of use are described below.
HOW DOES THIS SERVICE WORK?
1. The e-mail query system works exclusively with your e-mail
box. If you can send and receive e-mail, you can use this
system! It operates by sending brief messages to:
mail...@popc.com
2. Alternately, the free MS-Windows program provides built-in
functionality as listed below. It consists of a compiled
hypertext program which will self-install on MS-Windows.
Functions:
* Calendar of worldwide Events and Exhibitions.
* Listing of Petroleum Organizations and Associations:
name, address, tel/fax and e-mail number (when available).
* Listing of Exploration and Production companies:
name, address, tel/fax and e-mail number (when available).
* Listing of Manufacturers and Service companies:
name, address, tel/fax and e-mail number (when available).
* Initiate a SEARCH function (look for: name, address,
fax, etc.) for vendors under a specified product/service
topic (i.e., logging interpretation services).
Note, we have over 300 product/service search categories
available to locate vendors worldwide.
* Receive product/service BROCHURES in your e-mail box (if a
vendor has listed them) as text, Postscript, or as a popular
Word Processing format such as MS-Word or Word Perfect.
* We are collecting and listing industry e-mail addresses.
* Easy to use! You do NOT have to log into a BBS (bulletin
board system), nor understand exotic computer commands.
* Access can be initiated from ANY e-mail location, worldwide -
that have connection to Internet.
