Under cottonwood at the observation deck park end of Main. Warm, cloudy, breeze from downriver, water seems low but its August. Not much visual drought here. Some corn looks short but corn I doahno. Landscape is green.
I'll go on a EQ site search after lunch maybe over to the drillin area.
We generated rain after a processional from Glacier NP where our truck's tires were nailed potential canoe shuttle or not. A thunderstorm greeeted us as we went north to the Canoe Boundry Area thru touristville.
Drove across at night so no drought sitings.
We secured permission from UFS for woods camping, called the Lake and LO ! mist arouse up thru the tree line, first line a leafless lightning victim, luminbous mist befopre a rising moon.
And it rained.
However, our friends in the Barabas Groups immediately attacked circling the wagon with loudspeakers issuing various threats of scalping, poison spraying...ect.
The truck was sprayed outside the NFS office at Washburn (no E).
We were warned we were not allowed sea kayaking thru the Apostle Islands. An Objibwe Casino is adjacent, the landing fully occupied with emploees.
Went up to Wilkins in the rain where we were attacked when speaking with a park guard window opposite the driver's side with a flowery roach s[ray.
So driving south, and giving up on a long term desire to canoe the boundry, dark clouds dropping rain followed as we drive into blue skies. Fascinating. Like we're not generating energy transfer here but the clouds are trailing. Nice.
Then we were attacked at Madison KOA with a breakin and thorough pisoning of the cab, A set up.
Film at 11.
