Not very close to being on topic, but here it is anyway

Scientists have known for decades that hidden under those impressive
vistas at sites such as Death Valley and Yellowstone National Park are
magma pools that under the right conditions can trigger explosive
eruptions.

Now, new research is changing scientists' understanding of the timing
of those eruptions, and prompting them to call for greater monitoring
of sites to help save lives when the next big volcano explodes.

Nothing about a volcano there:

Nice time lapse though.
I wonder how long before they put in a road, an airport and some
concrete block-houses so we can all see it.

watching the latest global cycle move across California to Mammoth and
up from Sea of Cortez to Mammoth wondering when the two routes close
when BANG theres a closing quake and LO !
LOL its under Whitney taking several deep thrusts to get one moving
thru....
oh yeah Whitney....back to the Appalachins.

The Canaries spume also impressive for the area's apparent but
unrecorded immoveability.

We felt and sent in reports of movement coming thru from Sea of Cortez
and bang, quake at Winslow...also from several thrusts in the cycle.

The Geysers tremors continue...how's the road ?
