There is another report that the rate of increase of CO2 concentrations
has slipped up a notch:

2006/03/12: Guardian(UK): Pollution soaring to crisis levels in Arctic
Scientists plead for action to save poles from 'tipping point' disaster
The scientists, at an atmospheric monitoring station in the Norwegian
territory of Svalbard, have found that levels of carbon dioxide in the
atmosphere near the North Pole are now rising at an unprecedented pace.
In 1990 this key cause of global warming was rising at a rate of
1 part per million (ppm). Recently, that rate reached 2 ppm per year.
Now, scientists at the Mount Zeppelin monitoring station have discovered
it is rising at between 2.5 and 3 ppm.

2006/03/09: CliSci: Is It the End of the Beginning in Climate Change Science?
[Guest log by Dr. Charles. F. Keller]
"With the explanations of how errors in both satellite and radiosonde
observations incorrectly led to the 'no warming' conclusion and with
the vindication of the models, one can now with some certitude say
that the argument over human influence on climate change is settled
(although there are lots of details still to be understood or worked
out). In fact our increasing emissions of greenhouse gases are
causing and accelerating warming of the planet and we must cease the
debate and attempt to agree on what steps to take to reduce the warming."
