AGW deniers would just sneer at "knowing how to read them" suggesting
that the "conspirators" were just trying to cover their lying arses
and it wouldn't be much better politically than first releasing the
Emails to hackers, etc.

Some nice if somewhat delusional guy on alt.philosophy keeps thinking
the Red Cross releasing tons of files documenting the Holocaust will
have some effect on the Holocaust deniers. I told him at least twice
that was the dumbest idea I've ever heard of in my entire life. If
the deniers didn't have enough evidence by now then nothing else will
change their minds.

Just Sunday my mother said she read some article that pointed out the
internet doesn't enlighten everyone as some democrats had hoped. Many
just go on believing anything they want.

More accurately, "a man hears what he is capable of hearing".

That capability changes only when the individual 'transcends' his
cultural programming, and starts to reason for himself.

That is an 'all or nothing' disposition. In other words dont expect to
increase your perception whilst catagorising individuals by the groups
they represent.
