Scientists now say the world stopped heating up in 1998.

The BBC reported:

Scientists say the recent downturn in the rate of global
warming will lead to lower temperature rises in the
short-term.

Since 1998, there has been an unexplained �standstill� in
the heating of the Earth�s atmosphere.

Well ... let's say there's been a PAUSE in the heating trend .....

Maybe it HAS stopped. Maybe something injected tiny particles
into the upper atmosphere. Maybe there's been a slight decrease
in solar output. Maybe it's a statistical fluke. Maybe different
buffering mechanisms cut in at different heat levels, until
they too are overcome.

Too soon to tell.

However the "We're all gonna roast TOMORROW !" doomsayers
need to shut up for awhile. Nothing is as simple as AlGore would
have us believe.
