Whilst completing the 2007 World Solar Challenge, the Bios Fuel team
raised enough funds for ChildFund NZ to install Safe Water Facilities
in 3 schools in India. Safe drinking water is a major problem in
developing countries such as India. The safe drinking water facility
for the schools will contribute to minimising water borne diseases
caused from drinking and using dirty water. Water borne diseases cause
1 out of every 4 deaths in children around the world, that’s 5,000
deaths a day.

Among his inventions Steve Ryan has developed a process by which his
stock Suzuki 350cc motorcycle runs on regular tap water.

Looking at xogen for example we do have the means of giving everyone
drinking water the moment we want to.

Is the entire planet populated by idiots? Yes.

Only since recorded history began. France, too, and Italy. Don't
drink from Moscow taps. We can save the world with 2K races - but
only if you care enough to sign petitions.

Uncle Al has a better, more effective, more economic proposal: Let
stoopidity die of its own hand. Hindus have 36 crores of gods - 360
million deities. If none of them care, why do you? You care because
you are stooopid. Compassion is an evolutionarily stooopid act
committed at others' expense.

Evolution has no purpose. It just happens. You might as well call
sitting on a chair "gravitationally stupid".

As part of the Greenfleet Class of the Panasonic World Solar Challenge
2007 New Zealand company Bios Fuel Corporation has demonstrated what
many believe to be the impossible - running a virtually unmodified
diesel engine on their H2W+ fuel blend comprising of 40% Water and 60%
Waste Mineral oil for 3000 kilometres across the Australian Desert.

http://peswiki.com/index.php/Directory:BiosFuel
New Zealand inventor, Steve Ryan, claims to have devised a method of
using water used as fuel directly, in contrast to using water as a
source of Hydrogen, which then serves as the combustable fuel. More
recently, the company has developed a proprietary catalyst that
enables water to mix with waste oil to provide fuel. The mixtures are
in process of being tested by the EPA in the U.S., the results of
which are expected in January or February of 2008.

Bios Fuel began with a concept in 1996, as founder Steve Ryan was
tinkering with an old motorbike engine in an Auckland garage. He
started to believe that burning the hydrogen contained in water in a
combustion engine was not just science fiction. In 2002 he left a
finance career to focus on researching the concept.

Water mist injection into certain engines can be effective. It has nothing to do with burning hydrogen
but instead cooling the 'fuel charge' that allows a larger fuel-air mass into the cylinder with
resulting higher power output. It's really simple physics.

This was used on WW2 airplanes like B17s for example.

Water injection is used in airplanes to cool the engine so that it doesn't
self destruct at high power levels and low airspeeds.

It is not limited to piston engines. The B52 has a water injection system.

You are talking about pure hydrogen gas? Pure hydrogen gas is made
using ordinary electrolysis. It is independently ducted then stored in
a tank.

Common ducted gas is quite different. What what we call Brownsgas
really represents a soup of hydrogen, oxygen, water vapor, steam and
water in the illusive HHO state of water.

I think just like Stanley Meyer Steve Ryan may have GEET exhaust
recycling technology on his bike. He used some electricity free system
with wires(?) for an entrainment process that prepares the water. I
guess it's interesting how it used wires but didn't have a battery or
any other power source.

Water is the ultimate information carrier. But how and what Steve Ryan
did what he did to it is still a mystery.

Not as much to me as to you but still Rabbit man.... but still...

No I said water injection for direct charge mass cooling. It allows a greater mass of fuel-air mixture into
the cylinder and hence greater power output, akthough it does of course use more fuel in the process.

I wouldn't expect you to understand it as it involves science.

Three groups of Kiwis have been working to prove that cars don’t
necessarily need to add to global warming or use up dwindling natural
resources.

A solar-powered car, an electric car and a car running on water and
used oil - set off on a gruelling race across Australia.
With a number of breakdowns and fix-it jobs on the side of the road,
it soon seemed that there was still some work required to turn the
dream of environmentally friendly transport into reality.

That was until they reached the outskirts of a little town in the
desert called Coober Pedy… when everything changed.
