RE: Electronic Chinese Translator

I am looking for a translator (a computer program or,
preferably, an electronic device) to translate between English
and the Yale Romanization of Chinese.

If someone could direct me to the linguistics department of
Yale University, that would also be very helpful.

Thanks a lot.

Hi! During my stay in HongKong, I've bought a neat electronic-dictionary,
called the "Instant-Dict, model EC-3900"...I think it functions quite well!

It can translate english words into chinese and has also speech capabilities
in cantonese, mandarin and english. I don't know what the Yale standard of
Romanization is, but there is another feature available for chinese lookup,
which provides some kind of romanization of cantonese AND mandarin.

Neat little device! Long live micro-electronics!
