Hi,
There is a company here in Sydney Australia called Oatley Electronics that
sells a kit which uses an IR-laser diode to send audio. This kit could I am
sure be adapted to send data. The phone number is (02)579-4985 and the fax
number is (02)570-7910.
The kit (from memory) costs about $50 and includes all parts and pcb's.
If u are interested this company sells heaps of image intensifier stuff and
laser bits and pieces.

with them and have built a laser kit which worked GREAT. So I thought I would
share my luck at finding an interesting electronics supplier....
