i am using winnt.

i have dnloaded several tar.z and asc.z of circuits.

i have tar.zip and tar4dos.zip BUT i cannot find uncomp.zip anywhere.

from what i know you need uncomp to uncompress first and then use tar
or am i wrong.

THANKS

When you untar, remember -XVF -XVF -XVF !!!

I played around with that program for I don't remember how long trying to
get it to work. Then I saw somewhere TAR -XVF filename.tar.

BTW, I tried to untar something I got from
ftp.ee.ualberta.ca/pub/cookbook, I think it was. How to build phone
circuits, or something like that. It wouldn't decode correctly. I think
it was done on an Amiga.

REMEMBER -XVF!

: Ah! the .z means it was compressed with GNU zip (gzip), you can get it
: from sunsite.unc.edu /pub/Linux/distributions/MCC/dos-utils/gzip124.exe
: file size 119,146 bytes.
