Question about Big BROTHER,
What is the current status of existing and potiential, eves dropping
devices that are NOW being used by the U.S. Government, or any SUBGROUP
there of. Including but not limited to; communication satelites,
telephone, celluar, radio, required onboard chips for phones or computers.
Just what is Big Brother up to now and what is proposed?
All help appreciated in advance, please e-mail replies. thanks.

Radio communications, including cellular phones and satellites, are
*inherently* not private unless encrypted. If you use a cellular phone,
you are BROADCASTING to "big brother" and lots of little brothers.
I think the big issue right now is proposed government limits on
encryption. See comp.risks and comp.org.eff.talk.
