The following is my aperiodic mailing of new patent titles and numbers
(aperiodic in the sense that it is a pain in the ass doing what either the
PTO or AIPLA should be doing - someone should explain USENET to them).

The text and diagrams of any of these patents can be ordered from the
patent office for $3 in printed form (send a check for $3 for each patent you
want to: Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks, Patent and Trademark Office,
Washington, DC, 22202).

I strongly recommend the book, "Patent it Yourself" $40,by David Pressman,
which can be ordered from Nolo Press in Berkeley (800-992-6656). Great and
complete introductory book. For advanced inventors, I suggest two books from
the Practising Law Institute, New York: "Landis on mechanics of patent claim
drafting" $140, and "Advanced claim drafting and amendment writing workshop"
$70.
