MY TV SUCKS!!!!!

I have asked this question before. I am wondering if any one as any
other ideas whats wrong with my TV.

I have 32'' Sony V series tv in my basement. And while I watch TV it
will have distorion. (shows up on DVD,DSS and normal TV)
It kind of ''inverts'''. It will make some of the screen seem
squshed,for as long as 5 minutes at a time. And the distorion all seems
to be in a bar in the midle of the screen.
While watching a 2 hour movie tonight,it 'squshed' for about 15-20
mintues total. Stil,it's very annoying.
It seems to have gotten worse everyday that goes by.

What should I do?!!?!?!??!?!?

Why don't you take it and have it FIXED?

You seem to have a problem in the Vertical deflection amp. You would
need to take it to someone who can troubleshoot it and replace the
failed part for you...

It is fixable!

I'll tell ya why I don't have it fixed...because the repairman told me
its NORMAL!!! Hes full of sheet.

Is it forming an Hour-Glass shape? If so suspect something failing in your
Pincusion Circuit. Sony TV's are overly complicated and in my book have
ABOVE average failure rates! A 32" Sony is quite an expensive TV, but I
would not invest over $200 in the repair of it...

My guess is that you have an intermittent capacitor in the vertical
section. It will need professional help

1. WHENEVER YOUR TV PICTURE
SHINKS IN ANY DIRECTION, SHUT IT OFF !
WHEN IT IT IS SHORT ON DEFLECTION IT'S PROBABLY DISTRESSING THE OUTPUT
COMPONENTS. THESE ARE THE "HIGHEST POWERED" PARTS IN THE SET EXCEPT FOR THE
POWER SUPPLY ITSELF. WHEN THEY SHORT OUT THEY TAKE OTHER PARTS WITH THE.
YOU GOT A NICE SET
TAKE CARE OF IT !
