I'm looking for a replacement for a triac type TAG93. Does anybody
have specifications and pinout info on this triac? Can't find it
anywhere on the internet, and local electronics shops can't help me
either.

Thanks,

Marcel

Hi Marcel

That's fine. All the years I didn't throw away the old TAG shortform of
1981 and the data book of 1986. Now it's time to use it after all these
years:

TAG93 TO92 TRIAC
It (RMS) = 0,6A at 55degree Celsius
ITSM (50Hz/10ms) = 6A
Igt I + 5mA
Igt I - no data
Igt III + 5mA
Igt III - no data
Iholdmax 10mA
dv/dt typ. max. 50V/us
Tu -40/125 degree Celsius

Be careful about the voltage designator
TAG 93Y 30V
TAG 93YY 60V
TAG 93A 100V
TAG 93B 200V
TAG 93C 300V
TAG 93D 400V
(Damned. Why did you post the letter ?)

In 1985 TAG renumbered all parts. For the TAG93xx they had not an
absolut equal device.
But they said, for this type the Z0105BA or Z0105DA is the best possible
replacement.
