STR 30110 Control?

Have a Sansui t.v. (Sorry M# is at shop) that uses the str30110 voltage
regulator. The darn thing is supposed to regulate at 110 but it and it's
replacements don't. I'm repairing blind on this set. Would someone
please clue me in on the function of the output control pin or anything
else that may steer me in the right direction.

Sometimes they bias the ground pin above ground, resulting in the
regulator's voltage being higher, I think.

>If the electrolytic capacitor on the output pin opens the regulator won't regulate. Usually the physical location of this cap isn't near the reg ic. My company has received 20 faulty Str30130 ics from one of our suppliers in the last two months. I don't know if other regulators manufactured by this company are also defective. Chuck.
