It has started arcing between the door and the door face near the
center, bottom . The area there is clean and I can see no reason for
the arcing. I have two burn marks about 1/4 in. dia.
Customer service said take it in for repair, which I may have to do.
It is about 120 mile round trip for me for repair.
Has anyone had this type of arcing problem? Any fix I can do myself?
Thank you.

Before you buy.
If the RF door overlay is out of specs, then it will have to be
replaced.
It would be worth your health to give it to the proper place to
service this problem. Microwave ovens are very dangerous to work on
if not properly trained and equiped to do the proper job.
