I have a Fisher PH-D7700 stereo whose CD player doesn't work. The unit
plays a CD but no sound comes out. The other functions work fine. Does
anyone know a source where I can get a copy of ther service manual for
this unit? Thank you

If the CD is recognized and the track times increment properly, and the
unit works with other audio sources, then the problem is likely in the
audio selection switch or circuitry.

It is possible for the CD player to be at fault but most of it has to be
working properly to get that far.
