I own a sony VPH-1030Q1 Video projector and all was fine up untill about a
month ago. The unit will power up and all the crt's lite up bright, but
after they reach full brightness, the unit powers itself down. I have
checked the majority of the test points on the boards when the unit is on
and they are at the correct voltage levels. So im thinking that its probably
the power supply. Would a leaky cap in the power supply cause the unit to
power off, or is it somthing more serious. I noticed that when it turns off
you hear a high pitched shreaking sound from the caps in the power supply.
Any help would be great!!!

Greg
