mitsubishi tv has no deflection

Can a newbie as a question? Most questions here are much more advanced
than mine, but I can't find a more suitable news group to ask.
My 32 inch Mitsubishi tv lost it's vertical deflection and I only get a
bright horizontal line across the middle of my screen. I put this in my
garage a couple years ago, but would like to fix it if possible. Any
ideas?
