Hi There..
I have a toshiba 2151TB TV 21 inch..
Recently after turning it on it started to flicker every so often with the
picture going brighter for a second or two.. and also the height of the
picture has increased.
When the tv is switched off from being on a few minutes it seems to have a
lot of static discharge (more than usual !) . I also see white scan lines
about 3/4 inch apart going diagonally across the screen.

Have looked all across the psu / vert area but not found any bad joints...

Any ideas??

Thanks

Rob

Sounds like the high voltage is a little too high. Quite possibly some
problem with one of the flyback damper components (look for a bad component
or solder joint near the output of the flyback). Be careful, since many
capacitors and other components will still present a hazardous voltage.
Give this to a shop if you are unsure about playing with the high voltage
components.
