Philips CD Draw pushes past limit

I have a Philips AS655 5 Disc changer that when I open the draw it comes out
to its full extent and then continues to try to push the draw out further
for a few seconds. All belts and gears seem good, and cannot find anything
like a switch that it is supposed to hit on its limit.

This may be normal. I've seen it on Marantz CC-48 and CC-4000 models.
Both are 5-disc models made by Philips. I've looked in the service
data, and the only limit switch detects tray IN, nothing for tray OUT.
