Help on charging Sony Li-ion Battery with standard charger

I misplaced my battery charger for my Sony Digital camera. Until I find it
again, can I charge the NP-F330 with an 8 or 9 volt charger. What is the
ideal voltage.

Very inadvisable. Good chance of 1. destroying the battery by fire or
explosion. 2. Damaging or destroying the charger.

Lithium Ion batteries are VERY different from Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh, etc; these are
relatively forgiving...and not prone to fire and explosion.
