Hi all, I have a VCR that came in, it is a newer model unlike anything
I've seen before. It is a VR2107, and it has either bad end of tape
sensors or the LED is bad. I have no idea who made this VCR, as it is
not the usual Goldstars I've seen with the Zenith name, this one is
entirely new. The FCC ID is BEJ9QKE4710, I tried looking that up on
the Web with no results. Who made this machine or does anyone have a
part number for the end of tape sensors and middle LED? Any help would
be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!:)

BEJ is still Goldstar. Maybe this is a brand new chassis. I've been
hearing radio ads for Zenith's new talking VCRs ("Press 1 to set clock,
Press 2 to ..."). When will they stop putting this worthless bullshit
in TVs & VCRs and produce a well made, reliable product?

LG electronics sells a led emitter kit to repair this defect . I can't
remember the part number but I also had to replace the complete carriage
in the one I recently repaired . after finding out of this problem . I
ordered the kit . Same defect showed up after installation . So I replaced
the carriage assy and it solved my problem . Give them a call and ask for
the IR emitter .

Greg
hope it helps

I agree fully with both statements, the average consumer (not those
reading these posts) is stupid. VCR's, and everything else these days is
a disposable piece of junk, I never have, and never will buy a new piece
of equipment.

Hi all, I want to thank those that E-mailed me on the VCR, I have it
repaired. I scarfed an IR LED from an old remote and replaced the
center LED and the machine works great. Thanks again and take care!:)
