APC UPS cable pinout, please help!

hi,

i have an APC Back-UPS 400 with a DB9 connector in the back, aparently
a direct serial cable won't work with it, they say you need a "special"
cable.. i believe its just a pinout thing.. so does anyone have the
pinout for their "special" cable so i can build myself one? please!
