I'm wondering what is the limit of successive writings and erasing of a
GAL16V8D device.Thanks

According to the Lattice datasheet, 100 cycles.

As a relatively old device, the limit may be in the 10's or 100's. A
similar chip, Atmel's ATF16V8CZ, lists 100 as the reprogram limit.
