oki microline 280 printer

Hi all .

We have an Oki Microline 280 printer connected to an Inmarsat C
station.( the station is made by Standard Radio )The printer is now
locked in the Alarm position because it believes that it is out of
paper. I have checked the " paper out switch " and it is ok.The problem
started when it run out of paper.
It is also impossible to print the self test ( Hold down the Line Feed
button and Select button and then turn on the Power ) , nothing will
happen .The hole system is locked for this simple reason .
Is here anyone who knows how to reset the printer : are there any
jumpers inside the printer in order to do this or what is your opinion
?The user manual have some advices about how to disable the paper alarm
by some kind of basic program , but I don´t know how to do this ( have
no program )

One of the mother board failures that can cause an out of paper alarm is a bad
74LS05 or 74LS06.
