Hello, I just bought a Sony 27" Trinitron last week (not WEGA) and it's
been great. There's just one thing I'm wondering about. When I turn the
unit off, it produces a bright green wavy line on the screen (looks like
an oscilloscope wave, turned 90 degrees so it goes vertical). Is this
normal for shutdown on these beasts, or is something wrong?

You didn't mention whether or not the bright green wavy line goes away after
a few seconds..........if not, you definitely have a problem.

Oh sorry... No the lines only last a second or so (until the phosphors
fade).
