Does anyone know information on the pins around the horseshoe shaped ring on
the bottom of a flyback transformer? What pins are primary, etc...

There is no standard. Only way to know for sure is to get the specs
for the particular model flyback.
You can determine a lot with an ohmmeter though. See the Flyback Testing
FAQ at the site below.
