Fixed through Ford. The car has a Ford aftermarket system, made by
Codealarm. Have to find the instructions for that system through a
specialized company, since key and remote programming are different than the
standard Ford system. Hope there aren`t too many out there that have to have
there antitheft system reprogrammed after battery removal

Are you saying then that standard Ford PATS systems are NOT vulnerable
to losing the programed transducer data once the battery is removed? I
gather that your system was since it was not an installed system by Ford?
