Dear members of group,

Please can you help me regarding fault with STRONG SRT 4300 digital CI
satellite receiver.

When power cut occured all memorised channels were lost. Auto scan
produced no results.OSD is OK and remote cammands OK.When I entered
menu titled " aiming satellite antenna " I noticed that signal
strenght bar was at minimum with occasional fast increase to half of
scale.May I mention that satellite antenna was properly directed to
satellite and LNB is OK.
LNB supply valtages are OK and are changing when I disconected cable
downlead.

Personally I suspect that tuner module faulty.Second suspect was
corrupted software.Meanwhile I download proper STRONG software from
STRONG site.Using supplied instructions I download these software from
PC hard disc to flash memory of SRT 4300.End result of all this was
same message " No signal found".
Does anybodu can suggest what to do to repair above mentioned
receiver. Also, does anybodu has Service Manual for STRONG SRT 4300.
Please inform about price of these.

Any help highly appreciated.

Kind regards

Arsenijevic Nebojsa,electronics engineer

Can you detect any IF signals from the output pins of LNB tuner module
(assuming you've OK'd your LNB and line).
