We recently inherited a few *decades* worth of these schematics from a
television repair shop. They date back to the late fifties, up through the
early eighties. We really have no clue what to do with them and were hoping
this NG might help out with a few leads.

Thanks,

Sam

Samantha:

The first thing to do is determine if they are for TV, Radio, Appliances, etc.,

If the "set" is in order (all numbers are in sequence) then toy can ask for
more $$ for the "Set"

Ebay is an excellent place to sell these items: Place them in the electronics,
or antique radio categories.

Howard Sams co. Still sells these: so go to there websight and look-up what
they are selling them for (by File# or Folder#)

In bulk, you may get up to $4.00 to $10.00 for eah "File" (ther are usually
several files per folder).

So: (1) Search Ebay to see what some have sold for

You might try donating them to a local library. That way, many others can make
use of these older service manuals. Some libraries will accept them, some not.
