I have the Brother MFC4550, which is, I believe, the same machine as the
4650, except that the 4650 adds a voicemail capability. I bought it about 2
years ago when it first came out. I have found the true 600x600 dpi laser
printer to produce excellent results. The 400x400dpi scanner/copier and fax
are also excellent. I have never had a jam or misfeed with either the
scanner(copier, fax) or printer, and the toner cartridge is easy to change
and lasts a LONG time. The only thing difficult to learn about the Brother
multi-function machines is the extreme wealth of features. The only thing I
didn't care for was that the 4550 came with only about 1meg of RAM, which is
enough for any fax or text printing job, but not enough to print a full page
graphic or photograph at 600dpi. The 2meg upgrade is over $200. Otherwise,
I have been extremely happy with my MFC4550.
