A few days ago I was trying out some equipment on the supply and the fuse
blew, I calculate the current consumption to be at no more than 4 amps... but
the fuse installed in the supply was a 2 amp fuse, sounds like too little to
me.
So I would like to replace it with a higher capacity fuse to see if I can get
the supply to work as it should, but I have no idea how to calculate the
correct fuse rating. Is it simply the maximum amount of amps the supply can
put out (10 amps) or is there some other factor I should consider?

If it is in the DC output circuit, using a value just above the maximum rating
should be fine.
If it is somewhere else, you need to determine how the current there relates
to the output current including losses.
