problem with ADC equalizer

hi,

I have an ADC ss-300sl stereo equalizer, where the spectrum analyzer
barely registers any signal from my carver's preamp.

everything else works fine, no problems with the sliders or anything
else.

but the spectrum anaylzer only shows activity on really bassy tracks.
and that is only a few bars in the low section of the spectrum.

any ideas on how to make it more sensitive?

there does not seem to be any adjustment controls.

is ADC still in business?
